It is very simple: Marriage is the ugliest institution invented by man. It is not natural- it has been invented to monopolize a woman. In a better more intelligent world, people will love, but will not make any contracts. They will understand each other and the changing flux of life.

Marriage creates the need to get rid of each other, because it means freedom is taken away- and freedom is the highest value in human life. Make the couples free and you will be surprised how quickly the world becomes paradise.  What to do with children? Children should not belong to their parents, they should belong to the commune. Parents can relate to the children and yet the children are not dependent on them. It will destroy many psychological problems. If a boy knows only his mother, her personality becomes an imprint on him. He will search his whole life for a woman like her. But if children belong to the commune, they will come in contact with so many aunts and uncles- they will not carry a single picture in their minds. They will be more multidimensional and flexible, open. They will be friendlier. They will live far more enriched, less neurotic lives.

His name immediately sparks controversy— peoples’ eyes roll in the back of their heads.  “He’s a pervert” is a popular thing that I hear.

People can say what they want to about the guy, but it’s obvious that he’s DIFFERENT and he’s revolutionizing the way we think about business and the way we think about SOCIETY.  You see, not only is he influencing fashion, but he’s influencing perception.  His business model is in tune with the new-thought approach that is becoming more and more prevalent in global culture.

yesterday we were driving listening to NPR when a speech President Obama was giving to the Democratic Caucus in Virginia came on.    This guy (Pres. Obama) comes on, and rips into one of the realest speeches I’ve ever heard a politician give.

it was off the cuff, cos he was pausing alot in mid-sentence, and it was like he was choked with conviction. Its worth watching if only to see how he responds to his critics and the politics of Washington. Its a thing of beauty.

Amon Düül was a German political art commune formed out of the student movement of the 1960s which became well-known for its free form musical improvisations. This spawned two rock groups, Amon Düül (Amon Düül I) and the more famous Amon Düül II (sometimes referred to as

Amon Düül began in 1967 as a radical political art commune of  Munich based artists calling themselves, in part, after the Egyptian Sun God Amon; Düül has been cited as a character from Turkish fiction.

The commune attained cult status for its free form musical improvisations, performed around the happenings and demonstrations of the contemporary politicized youth movement. The commune had a liberal attitude to artistic freedom, valuing enthusiasm and attitude over artistic ability, and as a result, band membership was fluid; anyone who was part of the commune could be part of the group. A faction within the commune was more ambitious, conventional and musically structured than the commune society overall. This led to a split within the collective, which separated in 1969 into the components “Amon Düül” and “Amon Düül II”.
